A wine party is a fun way to spend an evening with friends. You will get to taste and enjoy a variety of wines while learning all about them. You will have a great time with friends and your energetic, wine loving and enthusiastic host Julie. Julie's unpretentious approach to the world of wine will have you talking and drinking like a wine connoisseur.

• You do not need to know anything at all about wine....I'll teach you!

• Taste wine from all over the world.

• A great and unique shower or birthday party.

What will I learn?

• How to evaluate wine and discover what you like in a wine.

• How to read a wine label. Even the French ones!

• How to choose a quality wine that is not expensive.

• How to choose a quality wine that is expensive.

• How wine processing affects the quality of the wine.

• The terminology of wine like "what the heck is malolactic fermentation?"

• The qualities that make a great wine great as well as a not-so-great wine.

What comes with a wine party?

• Glassware is provided for tastings.

• You'll get a warm-up wine to sip while I teach you a more formal lesson with a visual/photographic presentation.

• We'll get to taste 6 - 8 different quality wines, and learn how to evaluate them based on a few simple criteria.

• You'll get a brochure outlining the information of the evening and tips for choosing wine and how to read a wine label.

• Fun, friends and fabulous wine.
